Karl Lagerfeld can never do wrong in my eyes. His latest couture collection for Chanel is just breathtaking. Very light and soft. he was inspired by Marie Laurencin – the lady who painted a portrait of Coco Chanel back in 1920s. Using airy silhouettes that looks feminine and princess-y like. Most of this collection have boxy cut shape.

He uses the classic tweed material for the jacket, coat and skirts and dresses. He also incorporated tulles, chiffon, and ruffles into this collection. He truly understands what women want – making every model looks very gracious and feminine down the catwalk. He adds a touch of glam into this collection with sequins leggings.
