Let me introduce you to Pascal – new and rising model that will be huge this year. This Dutch film student has a lot going on in his life – currently majoring in Audiovisual Design. He has a unique look to him that is very editorial and commercial at the same time. He has walked for Nicole Farhi last year and I have a feeling that we will be seeing a lot of him walking down catwalks for famous designers and featured in fashion magazines in the near future.

Check out the full interview below!

01 – How are you, Pascal?

Hi! I’m fine, I hope you guys are fine as well.

02 – Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you were discovered.

I was shopping in Amsterdam when I got tapped on the shoulder by someone who asked me if was interested in doing modeling work. I was a bit nervous at first but I really like doing it now!

03 – Describe your style.

I don’t know if I really have a specific kind of style. I do like hats a lot, and I often wear one. I also often wear blouses and I usually wear a simple pair of jeans and sneakers.

04 – What do you do when you’re not modeling?

I’m doing a major in Audiovisual Design with a focus on documentaries in Holland at the moment. Besides studying I love going to the movies with a friend or girlfriend and having a few drinks never hurts either haha : ) I also play guitar and bass a lot.

05 – What is a typical day in your life like?

I go to school which takes a pretty long time and then after I come home I watch some TV, play a game or go out with a friend. My day sounds a little dull like this, but it’s really a lot of fun!

06 – Who is/are your style icon(s)?

I don’t really have a style icon. But if I have to name one it would probably be Adam Levine.

07 – What’s currently playing on your iPod?

John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, The Listening, Leeland, Jack Johnson, Coldplay, Jimi Hendrix, Jason Mraz

08 – Do you enjoy modeling?

Of course! It’s the most exciting job I have ever had.

09 – Tell us one thing that people don’t know about you.

I used to be really, really shy. I was afraid to talk to some people because I thought they were better than me in almost everything. However as you get older you start to become more and more aware of how lucky you can be the way that you are. Nobody is perfect.

10 – Do you enjoy doing editorials more than modeling?

I enjoy modeling more than doing editorials. I love the pictures that end up with when doing editorials but walking down the runway is more exciting to do.

10 – Who is your favourite designer?

I did a show for Nicole Farhi last season in Milan and I really liked the clothes. At the moment that would be my favorite brand.

11 – Do you have any big plans for 2011?

2011 is going to be my best year yet! I’m planning to go to a faraway country (have to pick one still though) and I’m planning on making a short movie.
