I’ve recently introduced you to Jake Hold |Elite London| and I’m glad that I had the chance to interview him and see what he is up to and what his future plans are. Read the interview below!

VK:  Hi, Jake! How are you?

JH: I’m pretty good thanks, and yourself?

VK: I’m pretty good, thank you.

VK:  Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

JH: I don’t know how to describe myself, I’m just me.

VK:  How were you discovered?

JH: I was studying fashion in Wales and then started modelling for friends etc then I got in touch with some designers who said i could model for their shows. From then on I dropped out of university after 2 years and moved to London.

VK: What do you think about the modeling world?

JH: The modelling world is a crazy place; it’s the best and worst place to be. It’s like being given a can of rice pudding with no can opener.

VK:  You’re quite fashionable yourself—before you were modeling, have you always been into fashion?

JH: Yes for sure, fashion is my bitch and always will be. I’m hoping to design menswear in the future.

VK: What do you do when you’re not booked? (any hobbies, sports, activities etc?)

JH: I like to chill with my mates, see my lovely girl or just workout, play some basketball etc.

VK: What do you think of the men’s fashion nowadays?

JH: I think men’s fashion is pretty strong these days but id like to see brands with more design and less branding. For example Abercrombie and Fitch, great brand but the clothes suck.

VK: What is your favourite city to visit? Why?

JH: Paris.. I’m a bit of an old romantic at heart and Paris is beautiful!

VK: What music have you been listening to lately?

JH: Lately I’ve not had my iPod but is normally be listening to some sleezy rock n roll, libertines or the subways! Songs with attitude!

VK: If you weren’t a model, you would be…

JH: If I weren’t a model I’d probably be a rockstar, overdosing on smack in some dirty backstage toilet with a drunk hooker in front of me. I was a drummer for 9-ish years so I’m really into my rock ‘n roll.

VK: Tell me about your first photo shoot, did you feel comfortable in front of the camera?

JH: The first time I did a shoot, I didn’t really know what to do so I was quite shy but the more you do, the more you understand the way your body moves and light and expressions etc. I can’t keep away from the cameras nowadays!

VK: What kind of modeling job do you prefer? (ad campaigns, editorial, runways etc?)

JH: I love everything but my favourite is probably runway, it’s such an adrenaline rush walking out with so many faces starring at you, it’s a great feeling.

VK: What do you think about my blog? Any feedbacks?

JH: I haven’t had a chance to check out the blog yet but I will get back to you on that one, I’m sure its amazing!

VK: What’s next for Jake Hold?

JH: Next for me is world domination, one billboard and magazine at a time! I’m also planning on being a f*cking celebrity so watch this space!
