American singer-songwriter Matthew Koma is ready to make an impact in the music industry. After having a smash hit with collaborator Lil Playy on his track “Birthday Dress,” Matthew is gearing to take over the charts with his debut EP entitled “Parachute.” Not only did he write, but he also produced/co-produced all four tracks on the EP. Matthew worked with Alex Da Kid (Nicki Minaj, Rihanna), The Runaways’ Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello (Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis), The Smeezingtons’ Ari Levine (Bruno Mars, Bad Meets Evil), and Mike Caren (T.I., B.o.B.) on this EP. Parachute will be released via Darkchild / Cherrytree / Interscope on May 29, 2012.

Matthew Koma first made a scene when he wrote the hook on Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso’s smash single “Calling (Lose My Mind).” He is also featured on Zedd’s new single “Spectrum” which will drop on iTunes on June 4, 2012 via Interscope. It’s safe to say that 2012 will be a good year for Matthew Koma – with his debut EP comin out next week and his debut album “Propaganda” later this year.

Koma is currently on tour with his label mates LMFAO, Far East Movement, The Quest Crew, Sidney Samson and Eva Simons for the Sorry for Party Rocking Tour, presented by RedFoo and Cherrytree.
