Baracuta, a British label has just appointed English designer Jeff Griffin as the new Creative Director for their premium line, Blue Label. Jeff brings his devotion of British manufacturing and quality by incorporating them into the design and making of this collection. Harris Tweed from Scotland is featured prominently throughout, as is the classic check from Butterworth & Roberts Mill in Yorkshire.

Also, his reinterpretation of “Britishness” is incorporated to many pieces from this collection. He updates the traditional design with a modern twist, such as the classic military design and strong masculine silhouettes and brings them together to create wearable and contemporary looks that can be reversed to create two distinct looks. In addition, he also updated Baracuta’s iconic G9 jacket which include a quilted bomber and a reversible G9 that is one part Harris Tweed and one part Griffin’s signature camouflage print with a zippered arm pocket for increased utility.
