The power of recycling.

Sometimes, you just have to improvise when you don’t have anything new to wear, or you’re just saving your outfit for an upcoming event. That’s mostly the case with me, as it’s just a little ridiculous for me to keep on shopping (believe me, there’s nothing I like better than shopping). The thing is, with fashion, there’s no boundaries to what you can wear–literally, you could wear a garbage bag and it would still be considered “fashionable” by certain people. Unless you’re a celebrity, please don’t wear one. In all seriousness though,  you can always recycle your old outfit to create a new one. This look, I did just that!

I’m sure you have seen this sweater and coat numerous times, but hey, I found a new way to incorporate these two pieces into a new look and I even found a new colour combo. Oh, the power of creative thinking (if only I could think like that during my exam ?). Chances are many of  you guys have a lot of clothes in your clothes that are just waiting to be worn and that’s okay. Just remember that you don’t always have to wait until a certain time to wear it; just go raid your closet and find a way to make something new out of it. If you’re kind of lost, start with black or white.

Back to studying––over and out!
