Lifestyle brand John Varvatos will be launching its latest men’s fragrance ‘Dark Rebel Rider’ this September. This fragrance takes inspiration from the world of motorcycle as well as the classic and iconic black leather biker jacket.  The Dark Rebel Rider fragrance is housed in the same sleek flask bottle design as its predecessor, but it doesn’t stop there, as DRR gets a black grain external sleeve that features metal zipper on each side.

Staying true to the inspirations, this fragrance features a bold, sensual and masculine note, which is perfect for those who are rebellious and adventurous. One thing about this fragrance is that it has got so many different layers to it, but the one prominent layer that I really like is the smoky woody note. Don’t be put off by the boldness of this fragrance, because after 5 to 6 hours the fragrance gets lighter and it becomes sexier and mysterious – if that makes sense.  If you’re in the market for something new and unexpected, I would definitely suggest giving this one a go. The smokey spicy note makes this fragrance perfect for the chilling and cold weather.
Dark Rebel Rider will be available in Canada in the beginning of September at Hudson’s Bay, London Drugs, Nordstrom, Sephora and Shoppers Drugmart. DRR also comes in two different sizes – 125mL for $110* and 75mL for $89.
*this will only be available at Hudson’s Bay and Nordstrom.
TOP NOTES: The citrus aromas of bitter orange and citron heighten senses while the spicy and floral essence of saffron, marjoram and hyssop envelop with a lusty, earthy appeal.
HEART NOTES: Florentine iris roots, osmanthus absolute and black violet convey an intense overture further enriched with the aromas of rockrose resin, Somalian frankincense, Sumatran bark resin and Tolu balsam to create a distinctive statement.
