If you had asked me a long time ago to do some self-portraiture in the winter, my answer would have been straight up, no. Since then, I have learned so many photography skills through personal experiences, school and research. It has been quite some time since my last self-portrait session and quite frankly I miss it a lot. Now, it’s not easy when people stare at you, but you just have to develop a thick skin to achieve great things. The reason that I haven’t been doing a lot of it, is because of the weather and also the fear of people running off with my camera and other things that I have with me – where’s my assistant when you need one, am I right?!

For this shoot, I wore my favourite trench coat as the top layer, quilted bomber jacket as the middle layer and an oversized turtleneck as the last layer. For the bottom part of this look, I wore cropped jeans and black suede boots. To give it a little sophistication, I paired this look with a MCM Milla Tote bag in phantom grey.
